Jason Marx Joins Firm as Partner to Lead New Practice Areas

(March 8, 2021) – Curcio Mirzaian Sirot LLC has announced an expansion of its law practice and the launch of two new practice groups – Taxation and Estate Planning and Elder Care and Special Needs Planning. In addition, Jason E. Marx has joined the firm as a Partner and chairs the two new practice areas.

Jason Marx Chairs Taxation and Estate Planning Group and Elder Care and Special Needs Planning Group
As Chair of both the Taxation and Estate Planning Group and the Elder Care and Special Needs Planning Group, Marx dedicates his practice to tax and estate planning, elder law, life care planning, asset and wealth preservation planning, guardianships, and special needs planning. As a strategic advisor to individuals, families, business owners, executors and trustees, he counsels clients on a comprehensive range of issues within the areas of tax, trust and estate law and is committed to protecting and advocating for the legal rights of the elderly and the disabled to ensure that the unique needs of these individuals and their families are met.
Marx is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, and the New Jersey State, New York State and Essex County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees and treasurer of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and as Chair of the legal committee of the Jewish Community Housing Corporation. In addition to his practice, Marx lectures extensively on elder care, estate planning, asset protection, special needs planning, and related matters.
He joins Curcio Mirzaian Sirot from Connell Foley. Admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Marx earned an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Seton Hall Law School, and a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
